Step into the world of Millie Frood, a 20th Century Motherwell-based artist whose remarkable works are now on display at the Motherwell Heritage Centre. In this episode, we hear from assistant curator, Rosie Shackleton, who offers profound insights into Frood's artistry and influence. With interviews with Frood's neighbours, we paint a vivid picture of the artist and the vibrant community she was a part of. We also hear from the NL Community Choir who have been singing their way into Spring.

In the first ever community takeover of Amplifying Artistry, we meet the women of Aura, North Lanarkshire's inclusive domestic abuse support service. We invite you to join one of their weekly sessions, where they engage in meaningful discussions about the realities of domestic abuse, challenging common societal stereotypes. Over the course of 30 powerful minutes, you'll hear inspiring voices sharing their experiences through conversation, poetry, and song. This is an important listen that offers profound insight and understanding.
